Volleyball Recap: Concord Has No Trouble Against Mt. Diablo

Concord won the last time they faced Mt. Diablo and things went their way on Monday too. The Bears put the hurt on the Red Devils with a sharp 3-0 win.

The victory didn't come easy: Mt. Diablo scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-18.

Jumaiya Tabayoyong paced Concord's offense, picking up 12 kills. Tabayoyong got some help from Levi Serrano and his 24 assists. Tabayoyong was also solid from the service line: he led the team with eight aces.

Concord's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-16. As for Mt. Diablo, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.

Concord wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Alhambra on the 29th. Mt. Diablo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
