Spirit Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Lake Arrowhead Competitive Sports 43-41. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Lake Arrowhead Competitive Sports lost, don't look at Jake McNamara. Despite the final result, he went 7 for 10 on his way to 17 points and three blocks. Logan Hartshorn was another key player, putting up six points.
