The Deep Run Wildcats will head out to face off against the Atlee Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Deep Run is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.3 runs per game this season.

Deep Run proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over Glen Allen. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Parker Noonan tossed a big game, pitching 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Eric Skowycz, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Atlee had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Patriots. Give the Raiders' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Deep Run pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Atlee, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.

Deep Run couldn't quite finish off Atlee in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 and fell 4-2. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
