Volleyball Game Preview: Hobbton Wildcats vs. Union Spartans

The Hobbton Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Union Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Hobbton came up short against East Columbus on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Hobbton took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-18, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Union earned a 3-1 victory over Spring Creek on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 26-28, 25-14, 26-24.

Union's win bumped their record up to 4-15. As for Hobbton, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5.

Hobbton was able to grind out a solid victory over Union in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
