Recap: Strasburg Rams vs. James Wood Colonels
The Strasburg Rams waltzed into Friday's contest with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 54-43 victory over James Wood. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Strasburg also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2019.
Despite the loss, James Wood still got an impressive performance from Josie Russell, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 rebounds. The game was Russell's third in a row with at least ten points. Brooklynn Medina was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
Strasburg's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for James Wood, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Strasburg will head out on the road to face off against Warren County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for James Wood, they will be playing at home against Kettle Run at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
