For Ishpeming's part, Marie Salisbury made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Salisbury was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Ava Jo Hares was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Brynn Lanala, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and four RBI.
