Lincolnton waltzed into their match on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Chase Trojans with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Lincolnton never let Chase on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-22, 25-20.

Keeli Frye paced Lincolnton's offense, picking up eight kills. Frye got some help from Torie Lykins and her 11 assists. Finally, Addison Beam kept Lincolnton's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Lincolnton's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Chase, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14.

Lincolnton has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Stuart W. Cramer on the 2nd. As for Chase, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against East Burke on the 2nd.
