Softball Recap: Fairview Comes Up Short

After flying high against Shoals Christian on Saturday, Fairview came back down to earth. The Yellowjackets came up short against the Colbert Heights Wildcats on Saturday, falling 12-3.

Fairview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Fox, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Colbert Heights, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 16-1.

Coming up, Fairview is taking a road trip to take on Centennial at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Colbert Heights, they will head out to challenge Summertown at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
