Volleyball Recap: Modoc Has No Trouble Against Central Valley + How To Watch

Modoc had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Central Valley on Thursday. The Braves blew past the Falcons 3-0. The Braves not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 19, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Modoc walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17, 25-21.

Katie Erquiaga paced Modoc's offense, picking up nine kills. Erquiaga got some help from Abigail Depaul and her 29 assists. Depaul was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Modoc is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7-2 record this season. As for Central Valley, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

Modoc wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Enterprise on the 19th. As for Central Valley, they will welcome Lassen at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Falcons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
