Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy came tearing into Monday's game with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Episcopal of Acadiana Falcons 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 16 contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-8. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Episcopal of Acadiana, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
