Volleyball Recap: Mountainside Comes Up Short

Mountainside lost against Glendale Prep Academy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolves came up short against the Griffins, falling 3-0. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-18, 25-17.

Brodie Blackstad paced Mountainside's offense, picking up four kills. Blackstad got some help from Krista Fronsman and her four assists. Blackstad was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Mountainside's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Glendale Prep Academy, they pushed their record up to 13-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountainside will host Kingman Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glendale Prep Academy, they will face off against Scottsdale Preparatory Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
