Soccer Recap: Colquitt County Takes a Loss

Colquitt County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the Veterans Warhawks. While losing is never fun, Colquitt County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 251st, while Veterans are ranked 103rd).

Colquitt County's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Veterans, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colquitt County will head out to challenge Lowndes at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Veterans, they will venture away from home to square off against Tift County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
