Volleyball Recap: Grant Takes a Loss

Grant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rocklin Thunder.

Sosaia Noa paced Grant's offense, picking up 12 kills. Noa got some help from Addison Lee and his 11 assists.

Among those leading the charge was Donovan Kuwazaki, who had 13 digs and one assist. Shane Nelson also deserves some recognition as he had his first kill of the season.

Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Rocklin, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.

Coincidentally, Grant and Rocklin will both be playing Franklin the next time they take the court. Grant will head out to face Franklin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Rocklin will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
