Soccer Recap: Lockhart Takes a Loss

Lockhart's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lehman Lobos. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Lions came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 187th, while the Lobos are ranked 569th).

Lockhart's loss dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Lehman, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-7.

Lockhart has already played their next contest, a 4-0 defeat against Glenn on the 21st. As for Lehman, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Cedar Park on the 22nd.
