Soccer Preview: Norwell vs. DeKalb
The Norwell Knights will head out to take on the DeKalb Barons at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Norwell is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Norwell finally turned things around against East Noble on Monday. They had just enough and edged the Knights out 2-1.
Hudson Gerbers and
Kyler Morris scored both of Norwell's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.
Meanwhile, DeKalb lost 7-4 to Leo on Wednesday. The Barons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Norwell's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for DeKalb, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
