Poolville's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Lipan on Friday. The Monarchs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Indians, sneaking past 7-5. This was a revenge game for the Monarchs: when they faced off against the Indians on Tuesday, they had to take a 4-3 loss.

Poolville has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Lipan, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 18-6.

Poolville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lipan, they will take on Crawford at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
