Softball Recap: Biggersville Comes Up Short

Biggersville extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping their season record down to 8-14 in the process. They came up short against the Vardaman Rams, falling 12-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-3 on Thursday.

As for Vardaman, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-11-1. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matches by six runs or more this season.

For Vardaman's part, the team relied heavily on Haley Parker, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and three runs. That's the most stolen bases Parker has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Lyla Chandler, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

As of now, neither Biggersville nor Vardaman have any future games scheduled.
