Basketball Game Preview: South Park Burros vs. Soroco Rams

South Park is 0-7 against Soroco since December of 2014 but things could change on Saturday. The South Park Burros will take on the Soroco Rams at 2:30 p.m. South Park's defense has only allowed 28.9 points per game this season, so Soroco's offense will have their work cut out for them.

South Park is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 57 points last Tuesday, they were much more limited against Center on Saturday. They took a 31-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings.

Trinity Walker was South Park's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Aubri Charles held things down on the boards with nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, Soroco had to suffer through a 69-8 loss at the hands of Rangely. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 254th, while the Panthers are ranked 23rd).

Soroco dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for South Park, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.
