Soccer Recap: St. John's Jesuit Comes Up Short

St. John's Jesuit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the University of Detroit Jesuit Cubs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against University of Detroit Jesuit this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

St. John's Jesuit's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-2. As for University of Detroit Jesuit, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-1-1 record this season.

St. John's Jesuit will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against St. Francis de Sales at 7:00 p.m. As for University of Detroit Jesuit, they are taking a road trip to challenge Detroit Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
