Basketball Recap: Fletcher Victorious

Fletcher saw some tournament action on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 46-43 win over the Trinity Catholic Celtics. The 46-point effort marked the Senators' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Kenny Matty was his usual excellent self, going 7-for-10 en route to 17 points. The contest was his third in a row with at least 15 points.

The victory made it two in a row for Fletcher and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Trinity Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Fletcher will head out to face off against Ribault at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trinity Catholic, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Tavares at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
