Soccer Game Preview: Lancaster Catholic vs. Schuylkill Valley

The Lancaster Catholic Crusaders will face off against the Schuylkill Valley Panthers at 5:50 p.m. on Tuesday. Lancaster Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Lancaster Catholic's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Pequea Valley. Lancaster Catholic haven't had any issues with Pequea Valley recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Bastian Lucquin and Carson Spangler scored both of Lancaster Catholic's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Schuylkill Valley duked it out with Kutztown on Saturday. The Panthers came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 3-1.

Lancaster Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Schuylkill Valley, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.

Everything went Lancaster Catholic's way against Schuylkill Valley when the teams last played back in October of 2023, as Lancaster Catholic made off with a 4-0 victory.
