Football Recap: North Toole County Comes Up Short

If North Toole County was feeling good fresh off their 57-14 takedown of St. Patrick's Academy last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Refiners were dealt a 62-14 loss at the hands of the Big Sandy Pioneers on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Refiners in their meetings with the Pioneers: they've now lost eight in a row.

North Toole County's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Big Sandy, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

North Toole County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Big Sandy, they will head out on the road to face off against Chester-Joplin-Inverness at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
