Basketball Recap: Ludlow Takes a Loss

Ludlow lost against Owen County back in March of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The contest between the Ludlow Panthers and the Owen County Rebels didn't end well, with the Ludlow Panthers falling 77-59.

Ludlow has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 14-12 record this season. As for Owen County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-8.

Looking ahead, Ludlow will host Holmes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Holmes knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Ludlow likes a good challenge. As for Owen County, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-38 victory against Anderson County on the 15th.
