League recap: Wautoma/Faith Christian stuns Wisconsin Dells in upset

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Wisconsin Dells, who took down 232nd ranked Wisconsin Dells, 34-14.

Nekoosa extended the longest winning streak in South Central this week by beating Adams-Friendship, 49-0. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.

Westfield Area's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Pioneers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Alex Slowey has thrown for 814 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Tyler Janke has 16 catches for 342 yards. Brad Floeter leads the league in rushing with 975 yards.

Westfield Area's Floeter needs only 25 yards against Wautoma/Faith Christian next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Nekoosa takes on the Chiefs. Scott Hilber's team is in third place, while Wisconsin Dells is in first place.

The Hornets moved up to 278 from 307 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in South Central. Wautoma/Faith Christian climbed the ranks as a result of a 34-14 win over the Chiefs.
