Basketball Game Preview: Hubbard Greyhounds vs. Bogan Bengals

The Hubbard Greyhounds will face off against the Bogan Bengals at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hubbard has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 4.

Last Wednesday, Hubbard lost to Carver on the road by a 35-16 margin.

Meanwhile, Bogan earned a 51-39 win over Christian Fenger Academy on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bengals.

Bogan's win came from a few key players Hubbard will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Aliyah Sandoka, who posted 12 points in addition to six rebounds and three blocks. Ra'Niyah Beal was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

Bogan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Bogan pushed their record up to 6-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Hubbard, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
