Volleyball Recap: Community Christian Academy Has No Trouble Against King Academy

Community Christian Academy won the last time they faced King Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Ambassadors were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Knights. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Ambassadors.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Community Christian Academy took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-15, 25-10.

Community Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Grace Jang, who had seven digs and six aces. Those six aces gave Jang a new career-high.

Jang wasn't the only good servers: Community Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 17 consecutive matches.

Community Christian Academy's record now sits at 16-3. As for King Academy, their loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-14.

Coming up, Community Christian Academy will welcome Orangeburg Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for King Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Greenwood Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
