Football Recap: Riverbank Takes a Loss

Riverbank was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 20-0 to the Beyer Patriots.

Summer Mitre threw for 63 yards on six of 14 attempts. Hazel Hughes was her top target, picking up 33 receiving yards.

Riverbank's loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Coming up, Riverbank will be playing in front of their home fans against Oakdale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs' defense has only allowed 8.2 points per game this season, so the Bruins' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Beyer, they will be playing at home against Sonora at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
