Basketball Recap: Meridian Takes a Loss

Meridian and Maroa-Forsyth squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Meridian had to settle for second. They came up short against the Maroa-Forsyth Trojans, falling 65-43. The Hawks' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Meridian's loss dropped their record down to 11-20. As for Maroa-Forsyth, the win got them back to even at 14-14.

Meridian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maroa-Forsyth, they will challenge St. Joseph-Ogden at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
