Basketball Recap: Fordland Takes a Loss

After flying high against Laquey last Tuesday, Fordland came back down to earth. The Fordland Eagles lost 52-26 to the Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish on Monday. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Fordland's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5. As for Springfield Catholic, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Conway the next time they take the court. Springfield Catholic will host Conway on Tuesday, while Fordland will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on February 3rd.
