Football Recap: Bonanza Comes Up Short on the Road Against Spring Valley + How To Watch

Bonanza kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 45-24 to the Spring Valley Grizzlies. The Bengals haven't had much luck with the Grizzlies recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Daniel Perez threw for 130 yards and one touchdown. John Willard was his top target, picking up 73 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Alex Tuimaualuga rushed for 141 yards and one TD on only 11 carries.

Spring Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from King Kahalewai, who picked up 265 receiving yards and four touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Camren Minton, who threw for 264 yards and four TDs on only 18 passes.

Bonanza wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 20-10 loss against Valley on the 29th. As for Spring Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 69-40 defeat against Silverado on the 29th.
