Baseball Recap: Beatrice Comes Up Short

Beatrice blew Lincoln Northwest out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Lincoln Northwest got their revenge. The Orangemen fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 6-4. The Orangemen's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Beatrice saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Baldwin, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Kyson Kolm was another, going 2-for-3 with one run.

Beatrice's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Lincoln Northwest, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-17.

As of now, neither Beatrice nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
