Chaffey waltzed into their contest on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Ontario Jaguars by a score of 56-43. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 527th, while the Jaguars are ranked 1287th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Chaffey has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. As for Ontario, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chaffey will face off against Chino at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Chino's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games. As for Ontario, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Ontario Jaguars duke it out with the Diamond Ranch Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Ontario is facing Diamond Ranch at the right time seeing as Diamond Ranch is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
