Softball Recap: Green Hill Takes Down Ranked Alcoa

Green Hill faced Alcoa in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Hawks came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tornadoes, sneaking past 1-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hawks have posted since April 4th.

Green Hill's victory bumped their record up to 19-2-2. As for Alcoa, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-5-1.

Green Hill has already played their next match, a 5-2 win against Baylor on the 12th. As for Alcoa, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Powell on the 12th.
