Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for the Classical Academy

After losing to Falcon the last time they met, The Classical Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Classical Academy Titans walked away with a 75-62 win over the Falcon Falcons on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Titans as they're now sitting on four straight.

The Classical Academy had a senior duo take command as Ky Walker went 7 of 11 to rack up 25 points and seven boards and Carter Miller went 6 for 12 on his way to 22 points and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miller has scored all season. Trace Cook was another key player, putting up nine points.

The Classical Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now racked up at least 20 assists in three consecutive matches.

Falcon lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jeremiah Potts, who went 5 for 10 en route to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Bertholf, who went 5 of 10 to rack up 12 points and eight rebounds.

The Classical Academy's record now sits at 14-2. As for Falcon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-6.

The Classical Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 75-23 win against Mitchell on the 6th. As for Falcon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-55 victory against Sand Creek on the 6th.
