Basketball Recap: Fayetteville Comes Up Short

Fayetteville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 64-39 to the Richland Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 371st, while the Raiders are ranked 147th).

Fayetteville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Richland, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Fayetteville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Richland, they will take on Moore County on Tuesday. Moore County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
