Softball Recap: Hubbard Takes a Loss

Hubbard lost against South Range on April 14th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles lost 7-1 to the Raiders.

Layla Songer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Hubbard's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for South Range, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Hubbard will challenge Struthers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Range, they will face off against Ursuline at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
