There's no place like home for Marmion, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 55-0 victory over the North Lawndale Phoenix. The Cadets not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 6, 2024 (when they won 56-0).

The win got Marmion back to even at 1-1. As for North Lawndale, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marmion will head out to face off against Saint Viator at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Lawndale, they will challenge Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. This will be the Phoenix's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
