If Prosper wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Allen, they should've done a better job of containing Campbell Sheffield. Allen came out on top against Prosper by a score of 3-1 on Friday with plenty of help from Sheffield, who had 24 digs and two assists. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.2 digs per game.

While Allen might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Prosper scored at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23, 19-25, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Prosper still got an impressive performance from Halle Richards, who had 20 digs and four assists. Richards has been hot, having posted 18 or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Allen has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 26-5 record this season. As for Prosper, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 13-13 record.

Allen didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against McKinney Boyd on the 23rd. As for Prosper, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Princeton on the 23rd.
