Softball Recap: Canon-McMillan Big Macs vs. Butler Golden Tornado
Canon-McMillan's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They put the hurt on the Butler Golden Tornado with a sharp 6-0 win. The Big Macs haven't had any issues with the Golden Tornado recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Not much got past Brooke Bumer, who gave up just three hits and racked up 14 Ks to keep Butler off the board. Bumer has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
