Menasha had lost three straight, but after bumping their record up to 10-7 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Winneconne Wolves 2-1. This was payback for the Bluejays, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Their offense was headlined by Audriana Stephani and Isabella Stephani, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Allison Guyette and her 16 assists. Isabella and Guyette didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.

As for Winneconne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-6. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 14-5 West De Pere (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 66.3% over those games).

Hallah Josephson and Bailey Church certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Josephson had 12 digs and two assists, while Church had 16 assists and six digs. Josephson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

Menasha didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against West De Pere on the 27th. As for Winneconne, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Kiel on the 27th.
