Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East St. Louis). Everything went their way against the Cahokia Comanches on Wednesday as they made off with an 18-1 win. The Flyers haven't had any issues with the Comanches recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

East St. Louis' win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Cahokia, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, East St. Louis will welcome Belleville East at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Flyers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lancers have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season. As for Cahokia, they will challenge Marion at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
