Wesson has gone 8-2 against Jefferson County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Wesson Cobras will head out on the road to face off against the Jefferson County Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Jefferson County took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Wesson, who comes in off a win.

Wesson is headed into the contest having just posted their closest win since November 14, 2023 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 38-36 victory over Port Gibson.

Meanwhile, Jefferson County came up short against Franklin County on Friday and fell 48-38. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jefferson County's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Wesson, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Wesson won a game that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in January, slipping by Jefferson County 62-61. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wesson since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
