Soccer Game Preview: MacArthur vs. Jackson-Reed

The MacArthur Mammoths will head out to take on the Jackson-Reed Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. MacArthur has given up an average of 3.3 goals per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

MacArthur is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of District of Columbia's top teams: School Without Walls, who was ranked 11th at the time (MacArthur was ranked 19th). The Mammoths lost 5-0 to the Penguins on Wednesday. MacArthur have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Jackson-Reed waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Roughriders.

Lucas Harrison and Nikolai Christianson scored all three of Jackson-Reed's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Jackson-Reed's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for MacArthur, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
