Volleyball Recap: Lyman Wins Going Away Against Lower Brule

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bennett County, Lyman was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Lower Brule Sioux 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Sioux: they've now won four in a row.

Lyman never let Lower Brule on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-7, 26-24.

Lyman's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Lower Brule, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Lyman will venture away from home to face off against Platte/Geddes at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lower Brule, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. Francis Indian at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th.
