Lockland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Liselle Bradford, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Bradford has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.
Meanwhile, Walnut Hills can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They skirted past West Clermont 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since April 16th.
Evie Denen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits.
At the plate, Kendra Sullivan was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Selina Rios, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
Walnut Hills' victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Lockland, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
