Softball Recap: Plainfield South Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Plainfield South had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Barrington Fillies/Broncos, falling 11-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered since April 25, 2024.

Plainfield South wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Glenbrook North on the 18th. As for Barrington, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-2 loss against Stevenson on the 18th.
