Garretson and Beresford are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2018, but not for long. The Garretson Blue Dragons will challenge the Beresford Watchdogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Garretson came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were dealt a 61-30 loss at the hands of McCook Central/Montrose. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Blue Dragons have suffered since December 31, 2024.

Meanwhile, Beresford didn't have too much trouble with Alcester-Hudson on Saturday as they won 49-33. The victory continues a trend for the Watchdogs in their matchups with the Cubs: they've now won four in a row.

Garretson's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Beresford, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Garretson was able to grind out a solid win over Beresford in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 45-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Garretson since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
