Basketball Recap: Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind Comes Up Short

Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind lost against Baboquivari back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind Sentinels were beaten by the Baboquivari Warriors 71-23. While losing is never fun, the Sentinels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 278th, while the Warriors are ranked 137th).

Despite the loss, Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind still got an impressive performance from Zephianh Little, who posted six points and eight rebounds.

Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind's loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Baboquivari, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind will take on Dishchii'bikoh in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dishchii'bikoh will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind surely won't give up without a fight. As for Baboquivari, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ray at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Baboquivari is facing Ray at the right time seeing as Ray is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
