Basketball Recap: Kenston's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Riverside, Kenston was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the South Rebels as the Kenston Bombers made off with a 55-30 victory. For the Bombers, this counts as revenge for the 66-60 win the Rebels walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kenston to victory, but perhaps none more so than Samuel Rogers, who went 5 for 6 on his way to 12 points. Adam Barr was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten boards.

Kenston smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in five consecutive contests.

Kenston's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8. As for South, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
