Baseball Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short

Columbus had taken Dike-New Hartford down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Sailors came up short against the Wolverines, falling 11-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Sailors have suffered against the Wolverines since June 26, 2017.

This is the second loss in a row for Columbus and nudges their season record down to 1-6. As for Dike-New Hartford, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
